Marc Drummond

Marc DrummondBorn and raised in Minnesota, Marc uses his creativity and curiosity to help others communicate in a simple, elegant, and informative manner. In 2000, he graduated summa cum laude from Albion College with a BA in English. He has a passion for travel: he studied in Scotland for a year and has traveled extensively through Europe and the US.

With his knack for technology, he taught himself the principles of web design. Beyond his work in the field, he also studied for several years at MCTC to earn a certificate in web design and a certificate in electronic publishing (essentially, graphic design).

When designing sites, he keeps his father’s motto in mind: “KISS: Keep it simple, silly.” He also has a passion for developing sites that follow web standards in order to not only promote accessibility, but also to improve the quality of sites and allow for easier site maintenance and development.

He also enjoys fiction and acting and is glad to use his love for the written word and keen eye for design in creating effective marketing materials, whether on the web or in print. He believes strongly in listening first, treating others with respect, working hard to get a job done well, but also keeping a sense of humor and a smile on your face while doing so.

Marc currently resides in Woodbury with his lovely wife Rita and loves chasing his cat around the house, watching his dog chase the cat around the house, strolling along the wonderful trails in his neighborhood with his wife and dog, drinking a good cup of decaf coffee, and studying languages and ancient history.
